GOLDEN EAGLES APRIL 2008 ITINERARY
APRIL 17 Depart Boston-Logan Airport via AER LINGUS at 6:00 PM to
Dublin, change planes and depart for Zurich
APRIL 18 Arrive Zurich at 2:00 PM (via Dublin) Transfer to Rapperswill, a small and quaint town on Lake Geneva. Check into Hotel. City tour by Coach Bus, walking tour of "downtown"
APRIL 19 Check out of Hotel. Morning sightseeing. Afternoon games
vs. Swiss Teams Transfer to Lake Garda in Italy. Check into
Hotel
APRIL 20 Morning sightseeing and shopping in Lake Garda in a
beautiful Italian Village. Afternoon and evening games vs.
Italian Teams
APRIL 21 Travel to beautiful Venice (possibly by train) for a full day of sightseeing and enjoying the city of canals. Visit the
historical sights such as Piazza San Marco, and Riva degli
Schiavoni, the elegant street along the Grand Canal.
Return to Lake Garda in the evening
APRIL 22 Morning sightseeing in Verona, the city of Romeo and Juliet.
Afternoon and evening games vs. Italian Teams
APRIL 23 Check out of Lake Garda Hotel. Coach Bus Transfer to the
French Alps. There is tremendous, breathtaking views of
the Alps on this ride. Have your cameras ready! The bus
driver will stop at certain points for photo opportunities!
APRIL 24 Day for sightseeing, or shopping in Chamonix, a former Olympic Village, or to go skiing in the beautiful mountains
near Chamonix , or take a Cable Car Ride to MT. Blanc
summit. Evening games vs. French Teams
APRIL 25 Check out of our hotel in Chamonix. Coach bus to Lake
Geneva. Sightseeing in Geneva before the 4:00 PM flight
from Zurich to Ireland. Arrive in Dublin at 5:00 PM and
transfer to the hotel in the city center. We are trying to
arrange a dinner show with ethnic dancing and singing.
Watch out for Leprechauns!
APRIL 26 Coach bus to "Old Dublin". Walking tour with shopping.
Afternoon flight back to Boston, and home, sweet home!
