Ask people to take books of tickets to work and sell them for you-they know people you will never know
3.
Try a hockey rink on a busy day, put up a sign, and say Hello to people. A few years ago a player, (Andrew Bond), went to the NESC and made arrangements to do this. In one day he sold 87 tickets at $5. each. How’s your math?
SPONSOR LETTERS
GREAT WINTER FUNDRAISER-DO NOT SEND LETTERS TO LARGE BUSINESSES. THEY HAVE NATIONAL CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS THEY DONATE TO: Instead,
utilize smaller businesses in your community, you will be amazed just how many there are. My
suggestion is to send 6-8 letters on a Sunday Night, then call or make a trip there on Wednesday-all they can say is no-DON’T BE AFRAID OF A “NO”
Download the sponser Letter.....
TIP OF THE DAY: SOCIAL, CHARITABLE & FRATERNAL ORGANIZATIONS ARE THE LARGEST DONORS!
